Exchange Programmes

KENVO is involved in various exchange programmes. At local level, KENVO facilitates peer learning and exchange visits for community groups particularly those of local farmers. At national level, KENVO members usually visit other community-based organisations in different areas to share experiences and knowledge in conservation. Internationally, KENVO is involved in the on-going Canada world youth programme (CWY) which is a trilateral exchange programme between Kenya, (KENVO), Tanzania (NAFRAC) and Canada (CWY). This programme helps youth to gain leadership skills and learn different cultures through informal learning. Further, KENVO acts as a training model for other community groups that are keen to strengthen their community-based natural resource management practices.
